Good she’s making a ton of money from the endorsements because the WNBA is many years behind the NBA and will likely never come close to them. It’s not about equal pay. Without the revenue stream, the WNBA will never match the NBA pay scale.
I suspect in a year Clark will just be another WNBA player. Not a standout like in the college years. Teams have demonstrated how to defend her and the pros are already tuned in.
But 28 mil from Nike will soften the disappointment. Now if she can just keep her head from swelling, she should be set for life.

I doubt anyone outside the US and Canada watch the WNBA. That does factor into the salaries.

She might be only the “top” paid WNBA athlete, but she just scored a $28 mill deal with Nike© to compensate. I wish I could go to women’s professional games.
