That way the states can arrest people for trying to cross the borders.
Personally I think abortion should be the last choice people consider, but then again I am a male. However, just like a marriage needs to be recognized in all states if it is recognized in one, people need to be free from prosecution by one state for what occurs legally in another state.
Another thought, if abortion is illegal, then ED medications should also be illegal.
MAGAt Bok knows that His Messiah doesn’t give a sh!t about whether abortions are legal or not and never has. It is documented that when he was confronted with a potential pregnancy, he wanted it ‘taken care of’.
All Republican legislators have always had access to abortions and always will have, no matter what the law is. (Law and Order is for the little people, just like taxes)
Abortion is just another ‘issue’ to weaponize and LIE about, by Bok and Trump.
Once again: The point of banning abortions is NOT to reduce their number. Contraceptives, sex education, access to health care and other efforts, would accomplish that.
That is NOT the objective.
The objective is to PUNISH SINNERS, women sinners, and especially poor women sinners. (of course, being poor shows that they are not in God’s graces and are therefore sinners anyway)
.
And does ANYONE believe that once abortions are made illegal, that they will not be available to Republican legislators?
Once again, Bok got it wrong. It’s the pro-forced birth Republican crowd that is complaining about Trump’s position. But, by now, everyone knows that this Trump position is temprorary till after the election.
sigh No one is calling Trump a dictator for saying abortion should be left up to the states. What people are saying is that his position means that he is automatically in favor of the state of Arizona’s State Supreme Court and legislature supporting the imposition of a draconian 1864 forced-birth law even though he’s now said that he thinks they went too far and “that’ll be straightened out.” You can’t have it both ways.
Trump is right. There is nothing in the Constitution to support a federal policy on abortion, either pro or con. The only way to achieve that is through the Amendment process. Good luck with that.
Creating a federal government with unlimited powers was not what the young men of our nation intended when they created the Constitution. While we’re at it, let’s outlaw FloMax the chemical castration medicine.

Yeah. An embryo is considered a child in one state, and not a human being with rights in another. SO FAIR! And so stupid.

Have you thought through your argument, David_the_CAD? There are at least 2 glaring fallacies to be seen. I’ll leave I’ll to others to explain.
