There is a love / hate relationship with gravity. Sure, it helps keep me grounded. But I sure hate it when near everything I drop falls down and breaks, or breaks something else, or injures me.
The POINT is that ignoring “gravity” DOESN’T work – gravity must ignore YOU…
And WHY would you wish for “gravity” to be removed, anyway?
A certain amount of “weight” is ALWAYS desirable, if not absolutely required, and the ability to “float” like the “down” of a thistle is amusing to contemplate – but rarely useful!
As noted in The Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Galaxy "There is an art, it says, or rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. Pick a nice day, [The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy] suggests, and try it. "

The volume of helium you need to inhale and swallow is larger than your body. Maybe you could steal a dozen inflatable vests from an airplane.

Unfortunately gravity is not a law to be broken. It’s a fact of life.

Tut tut tut. If ignoring things made them disappear, I’d never have any bills and way more money.

Is this like when I saw an 18 wheeler just blow through a right turn on red at an intersection. Just ignore the rules, they don’t apply to me?

The Supreme Court is going to rule that some people are immune from gravity.
Keep that in mind when you pull the lever. The elections for President and Senate are never just for the person running.

Just add your arm, shoulder and chest muscles to the wings, and add some feathers, and it should be easier next time

Humans taking flight in real life won’t work, but it does in dreams. In fact, it’s so common that it has a name: volant dream.

Don’t that beat all: just wing it. It’ll be a feather in your cap.

If Danae’s idea was true, then Lucy’s idea was logical … can’t say fairer than that!

Danae shouldn’t feel bad, plenty of people have fallen for weaker lies. Never mind, she should feel bad regardless.
