Reminds me of my wife’s cat. The cat was a stray that started hanging around, and my wife took it in. At first that cat was happy to eat anything, although we always try to feed it stuff that the vet says is good for it… now the cat is too finicky to eat anything except treats…
Interesting use of the onomatopoeia for grinding pepper. Charles M. Schulz made it clear that “scritch” or “scritching” was the only proper way to pet Snoopy.
