I guess the fact that she was able to get in an then get out so quickly proves that she’s a pro at robbing banks, although she did slip up the last time and ended up in the clink.
I really love the drawing of Dick Tracy, especially in the third panel. Junior is also good.
If she was “A PRO” then A) she would’ve been smarter than getting caught and sent to prison and B) she would’ve come up with a better “disguise” than a red bandana
I reminded of a few past strips—-1963’s THISTLE DEW story—-today’s drawing looks like a composite Junior drew of a robber who left a different part of a face exposed each time and Junior put together a complete portrait from t he bits and pieces.
Also reminded of Collins’ Sharptop story—-a youthful Flattop was shown committing bank robberies in a bandana mask that DIDN’T conceal his flat head.
2-JUNIOR: Why doesn’t the defense claim you went into this case prejudiced against the defendant and that you didn’t even consider other potential suspects? SAM (off panel): Yeah!
3-DT: BECAUSE the witness described Croppie to you perfectly! JUNIOR: No she didn’t. You had me draw that from Croppie’s mug shot. SAM (off panel): Yeah! DT: Well, uh…why’d you have to put huge 1800-era mutton chops on her? SAM (off panel): Yeah!
JUNIOR: Haven’t you ever heard of Artistic License?SAM (off panel): Yeah!
I’m liking this story so far and the artwork is fantastic. Junior, Tracy and Croptop all look good. Now when Lizz gets her dark eye lashes back, I’ll be a happy camper.
seeing how well Dick has been drawn in panel three, now more than ever, Charles should consider inserting HIS take on Dick in the opening credits at the homepage for Dick Tracy…
Joe’s Dick has been on there for quite a length of time even after he left…
it only seems fair since he finally got credit there after almost a month, so it only makes sense that since his NAME is there, HIS Dick should be there for all to see…
When this drawing is released to the public, Croptop and company will do an image makeover. Hope they don’t go to the library dressed as they were at the bank.

“She’s a pro!”
And she doesn’t know how to disguise herself??
Tracy is easily impressed!

If CropTop is a “pro” I’d sure hate to see the amateur bank robbers in TracyVille.

as long as she’s not a PRO ‘pro’…
I can’t imagine her as being THAT…
nor WOULD I…

There’s nothing wrong with today’s strip. Colors, illustrations, dialog are all fine and well.
That doesn’t change the fact that today is a total waste of a day. Absolutely nothing today advances the story.
A total album filler song.
Days like today are what cause the Sweatbox endings.

in panel three, Tracy looks all business…
nice artistic portray of Dick, o Carlo Magnifico…

Good morning™, Professional “Professionals” !
Tracy and Junior look Great and Craptop is looking … well done too. She did time for her extracurricular “banking” and is on her way to it again.

Pro? Pro? PRO? What kind of pro is gives away their obveeous facial features so easily? Even noob not be so stoopid, bro.

Loving the artistry, but, as said previously, the lack of disguise is a sore point. Even Scardol had the sense to wear a hat with his mask…..

I see. Kind of like playing chess against a time limit. You don’t dare take long in your early moves.

for a ‘pro’ she sure made it easy to identify her.

“Not a very BRIGHT one, but still s pro. Though she cut a pretty nice endorsement deal with Robbers’ Best Red Hankies.”

If she was a “pro” she wouldn’t be that easy to identify; why does she even bother with a mask?!
