With body snatchers, she had a shot at a bigger role.

I would have also accepted evil clone.

From loser brother to loser brother’s loser friend. Not a big step up, I’ll grant you.

If it were an alien body snatcher she could try and beat it out of him… And might enjoy the process. Hitting Miles just doesn’t seem fair.

lol. I think she believes him. It’s just disappointment. she was looking for a more dramatic explanation than just boring Miles being there.

So how long will Kevin milk this before the big GOTCHA moment?

There’s always the next story arc.

She needs to be in more story lines. So smart and snarky.

So Gene and Krystal have figured it out… sort of.

For those pushing back on the idea that ambiguity of whether this is all happening or just an act the characters are putting on: maybe the writer shouldn’t have just gotten done with a storyline that establishes these characters lie and make up drama at the drop of a hat just to be exhausting. I’ve been reading this comic on and off for a few months now and I’m going to drop it just because it is the double punch of being convoluted to no end and boring on top of it. Doesn’t help that it feels like it was only put into publication in the hopes it could be spun off into a Paramount+ show they’d probably end up cancelling to use as a tax write-off anyway, like Big Nate.
