WUNDERBAR! (One under bar.)
This Zen thought for the day is immediately clear.
I’m drawing a blank here.
It’s been underlined for emphasis.
I guess it’s profound but I’m keeping an open mind.
… or not think about it for a long time.
When my mind is blank, I wonder if I have finally found a state of zen or if it’s just old age
“Ooommm”
Ah, the sound of one Zen Man napping. How koan is that?
Sounds like the ocean.
Wisdom is the great quest.
Perilous and steep is the ascent.
Fuzzy man smiles enigmatically.
Wikipedia says that quotation marks begin with 66 and end with 99.
That’s the “essence” of Zen…nothing….
And we wonder why our brains are shrinking. Atrophy from disuse.
Not if you’re at all familiar with zen. Don’t think about the white horse.
“Bidenomics”
“If you have to explain it, you’ll never get it” – Louis Armstrong
That’s a good thought.
Non sequitur indeed.
What do you get when you combine a joke and a rhetorical question?
It’s your own thought that counts.
The wise man is pleased that he can share his knowledge without having to speak to anyone.
For many people, clearing their minds is NOT a problem, there’s so little there . . .
Ah, a baseball reference. A “line drive” to be sure.
Fill in the blank with a good thought.
Kōan
What might be termed as “linear thinking”.
When your mind is a blank you are at peace.
When some people start thinking, the rest of us are in trouble
Enjoy the Zen.
Ironically, you have to not think about it.
Find your own truth.
.
Wiley has drawn a blank. We, the readers has filled it.
I wonder if he changes it every day?
That was zen, this is dao
It’s a meta-koan.
“You’re messing with my Zen thing, man!”
Zen’s not here, man.
Zen Question of the Day: What if life just hands you lemonade to begin with?
Zen Question of Yesterday: If you really do expect delays, are they still delays?
Deli Question of the Day: Is bag-el related to Superman?
Mindfulness is easier when sitting on a soft purple pillow.
Zen philosophers think about being, not Nothing.
Keep you mind totally blank – whatever you do, DON’T THINK OF AN ELEPHANT!
“No thought” is tricky. It can become mindlessness or even brainlessness too easily.
First thing I saw as an oxymoron – or two.
I wish I could empty my mind! (Not that it’s full of anything great or useful. It just never stops.)
Zen there, done that. No use Koaning about it.
