Most of Americans have been $400 away from bankruptcy for decades. Growing up after my father died young, my mom’s bank account was frequently down to 2 digits at the end of the month.
When has that not been true? Mostly people go bankrupt from medical expenses because cowardly fool republicans have a fear of socialized medicine. We are the only civilized country that does not guarantee health care for its citizens. Republicans are too busy giving rich people tax breaks when they aren’t overthrowing democracy.
Summers and the Republicans WANT most Americans to be close to bankruptcy. It holds down the cost of labor and it keeps lower classes fighting each other over the scraps.
It is the ultimate success of trickle down economics.
.
You’ll notice that there is NO legislation whatsoever being passed or even proposed coming out of the Republican House.
There ain’t gonna be, either. Biden investigations ONLY.
That reminds me of another president and vp. trump: “The election was stolen.” pence: “The election was NOT stolen and I had no right to overturn the results.”And that was followed NOT by the prez smacking his forehead but the vp running from the people who elected him, who had brought a gallows to hang him by the neck til he was dead.
^Except it’s the Republicans who are 100% owned by the 1%. Democrats are < 100% corporate owned. Do you care? Are you willing to vote for the party that actually does want to help the labor side?

Weird how two things can be true, huh? Or are you saying that Americans not saving enough and/or living off of credit is Biden’s fault too?
If inflation is trending down, unemployment is down, wages are up relative to inflation who SHOULD get the credit/blame?

It’s been this way since Reganomics and ‘trickle down theory’.

The government can only provide the programs to grow the economy. The government cannot tell the people how to spend their money.

Love it when a democrat tells the truth for a change.

“Most Americans are $400 away from bankruptcy.”
So is Dana saying that if they are given $400, they’ll be able to afford to file for bankruptcy?
