Based on a true story! Ora Z is that demented kitten and senseless destruction runs through her veins.

Remember when the People bought a new bath rug? The Cats rated its softness on a scale of 1 to baby chick.

And Ora Zella evokes the memory of a pre-internet kitten poster…

(Late ’70’s, I think – very pre-internet! A classic meme from before the term came about…)

You’d think Puck would be used to this given he helped raise Lupin. Then again Ora makes him look calm by comparison.

I have no curtains on my windows. Much too tempting a thing. Thing 2 has curtains on hers, but her cats don’t bother them. They much prefer the tops of the doors. Literally. Don’t ask how they get up there, we don’t have a clue, but some days, all three are laying on the top of a door, all four legs hanging over the door and they’re sound asleep…

    Gets her motor runnin’

Revs up for the new day

    Causing much destruction

    With whatever comes her way

Yeah, darlin’ it’s what makes her happy

Wrecks the world at a frightful pace

Fires all of her claws at once

But with such a sweet face

    Like a true demented child

She is born to be wild

    She can climb so high

    New curtains? Bye-bye!

    Meanwhile, Back on the Nile

Beatrixia: And what about the other three sisters?

Elvis-Anum: Here the story goes on:

The superb piano playing was performed by Chef Tommy’s daughter, Beatrix, who played the most intricate pieces by virtue of her polydactyl paws. Her playing captured the attention of the intrepid sea captain, Captain Iggy.

Iggy: Hello, miss Beatrix. I love how you play piano. You are definitely a talent cat.

Beatrix: Thank you, Captain. It comes from many years of study and practice.

Iggy: Are you planning to study music at University?

Bea: That is my dream. I’ll have to see if it can happen.

    At the buffet table

Goldie: Hello, sir. I believe I had the pleasure of serving you and your cousin, Mr. Collins a pineapple pizza.

Burt: Yes. You were most gracious. I know some poof at the very thought of pineapple on top of pizza.

Goldie: Not all of us. I know it takes all kinds to make a world. Are you from this area, Mr. Burt?

Burt: Not originally, but I recently purchased the Run Down Estate. I am going to restore it to its original beauty.

Goldie: What a wonderful idea. I am rather handy, you know.

Burt: Perhaps your family can visit and see how my renovations go.

Goldie: That would be wonderful. Do you see that pink cat over there?

Burt: That’s the infamous Pink Lupin. He’s a snow-white cat, but somehow has acquired pink fur. Some say tomatoes were involved.

Goldie: And my sister, Ora Zella is going over to talk to him. I’m not so sure about this.

As I type this, I am looking onto the screened-in porch and seeing Holmes hanging off the screens. He climbs, stops, and turns his head to see if I’m watching. I call his name, and he rises higher. When he gets to the top, he jumps off and zooms through the house. A moment ago, he ran into the TV Tray table where Marie had supplies for her cross-stitch project. The table didn’t stand a chance.

Insane…crazy…chaotic neutral…Take your pick. This cat is obviously punishment for something I did in this life. The Summer Solstice is fast approaching. Perhaps I will go over to Cahokia Mounds at dawn and make an offering to the Gods for penance. Of course, I haven’t ruled out finding a Coven and having the witches cast a spell of forgiveness. Although, I am not sure what they would want in payment.

Anyway. Holmes just raced past me and back onto the porch. I better make sure the china cabinet is secured.

We have Nomex Fire proof Curtains in the front room. The aramid fiber is strong, similar to kevlar, and fire resistant, also they are blue on the inside face, and silver/grey on the exterior facing side – so don’t heat-up easily. My wife is planning to put up new Bamboo fiber curtains in the bathroom off our bedroom, and in the full bathroom downstairs. The other bathrooms are not getting a fix up -but no cat claw damage. I think these guys like to mess with the chairs and couches more than the curtains, since they play “War of the Five Armies” and the “Campaign for Middle Earth” – both the Good Campaign with the journey of the Fellowship (Lil’ Baby Frodo, especially loves to play this one), and the Bad Campaign – where the Evil Campaign opens with the betrayal of Saruman and his War on Rohan. The attack and conquest of Fangorn, the slaughter of the Ents before assaulting the Fellowship at Amon Hen (as took place at the end of the Fellowship of the Ring film).

Gandalf likes to sit on the top of the curtains to plot his strategies. But he can’t snag the fibers or tear them. Samwise and Bilbo climb a little above the chair we have there, but not up to the top. Lil’ Baby Frodo doesn’t climb – at all. He spends most of his time on the floor, or begging to be picked up and put up high.

Bucky Katt did one years ago (that strip is in reruns now – permanently it looks like) that is exactly that! I used to have it hanging on a door. Don’t know what happened to it, but a poster with Ora Zella doing this with an appropriate caption would be a big seller, you think?

Don’t get new curtains till the kids/cats grow up. Get new cats before your cats grow old, so you never need to get new curtains.

DorseyBelle’s pointing out that we got to see the (rare treat of) “Top of Cat Head” raises an interesting question for Georgia: Does she think up the entire color patterns on new characters, or not come up with a section (such as the back of a head) until a panel calls for that view to appear?
