I am beginning to think that most people that lives in the bible belt use the belt to cut off oxygen to their brains and that is why they will vote for Trump.

It’s simple: control people by instilling fear. Instead of welcoming different people into America (as we always have), we should fear that those “others” are coming for what belongs to US (never mind that what “belongs to us” was taken by force from the people who lived here before).
I find diversity in the people I associate with to be refreshing. Republicans want everybody to fear any kind of change.
Others will not use their brains and will vote for the current president whose brain will probably be completely shot before he could finish a second term. Many of us with functional brains wish for better candidates.
I really like this comic. If you look, it is party neutral. What it is showing (to me at least) is how the 2 party system pits citizens against each other instead of for what is best for us and our nation.
As for those of you who knee-jerk reacted against one party because of it…..you have become part of the problem.
Many Americans are addicted to outrage porn. Righteous indignation sells and becomes so addictive that the stories that spark it no longer have to be true for the addicts to get their fix!
Evangelicals are not as mindless as they appear to be. They really want the entire country to share their beliefs, or at least to act like they do. and some even have the idea that Trump is bringing on the end times, when they will all be swept up to heaven. Meanwhile:
They don’t like abortions, and actually birth control.
They want everyone to attend church and believe in Jesus.
They would not just allow public prayer everywhere all the time, but demand that anyone not participating be punished.
They would not allow any evidence of any other religion, or lack thereof to be displayed in public. That kind of thing is frightening to them and they really really hate it.
And, Trump has promised them a Christian version of the Taliban in America. This is quite a reach, considering that he doesn’t attend church himself and has shown absolutely no morals according to the dictates of any religion.
It is amazing to see how many of these people who are, in their own minds at least, a moral shining light actually are not ashamed of the fact that they are avidly supporting a person who is reliably dishonest in his business dealings and has the Family Values credentials of an extremely active tomcat.
The assumption that the house belongs to a Trump supporter is presumptuous. Maybe the owner plans to vote for RFK, Jr? Or someone living there expected their student loan forgiven? Just Vote.
The world’s billionaires now hold a combined $14.2 trillion in wealth That exceeds the GDP of every country in the world except the US and China. And we’re supposed to believe the ultra-wealthy can’t afford a wealth tax?
Vote out republicans and their tax breaks for rich republicans scheme.
