At $4.50 a dozen, eggs are still one of the best food bargains out there. Certainly better than $15 a pound Salmon or $16 a pound New York Strip steak.

The eggs will all be broken on delivery with the refrigerator. Along with all the other stuff the deliverymen break while hauling the fridge into their house. Plus, you’re not supposed to store the eggs in the fridge door.
