When we bought our car last year, the salesman added that $1,000 as “Dealer Surcharge”. My son, in NYC, also needed a car last year, and found dealer surcharges from $3,000 to $7,000.
With all the effort to force people out of their cars, people are finding more artificial blockades and artificially inflated costs. Mechanics are not responsible for all the new and artificially inflated costs. Besides, blue is not blue no matter what it was called three years ago.
When we were thinking about getting a new car, I looked online and saw that the only color car that wasn’t $500 to $1000 extra was a white one. I also discovered that cars in our price range were seriously under powered. So, I decided to keep my older red car with 300 HP.

So if there is a problem with the blue paint on the car, why is the expert holding a wrench instead of a paint brush?

Glad it wasn’t red. I hear red is REALLY pricey.
