I haven’t followed the NFL in the last few years. Is Tennessee still perfecting their identity as “that team that shouldn’t be in the playoffs but somehow is anyway”?

And there I was in my nice comfy easy chair in Kansas City enjoying every minute of it, Mahomes, the Grim Reaper, takes on the Bengals Sunday at Arrowhead baby.

Fortunately for me, I favour neither the Bengals nor the Titans. The rest of the weekend was very, very satisfying, especially in regards to a couple of arrogant ****s.

Who cares……

The TV contracts with the NFL since 1976 have basically guaranteed a profit for the league without it having to sell a single ticket or anything else a fan would buy at a stadium on game day, including parking space rental. I used to watch every game I could but for the last 20 years or so I only watch a favoured team if nothing else is going on. I did watch all four games this last weekend and was not disappointed that three of the games were close in the last minutes. I was disappointed in the outcomes of two of the games, but heartened by the fact that the 49ers owned the Rams this season.

Having a week off certainly didn’t help either of the two #1 seeds and maybe even hurt them.

With that said, Tannehill’s record during his lackluster NFL career attests to the fact that he is at best, a mediocre quarterback without the talent to lead a team to the Superbowl.

For me, it is just a pleasant experience to watch a clean, cheat-free, well reffed, and well played game. Shoot, even back in my days of coaching soccer, I would compliment the opposing keeper for a good save. That being said, Mahomes is just fun to watch—as fun to watch as Peyton and Montana were.

Just wait tell next season…RN4L been saying that since 1983.
