    Now, Dad, help him make some fun ramps that are “relatively” safe to jump off of (with a few spills for educational purposes). Let him learn about angles related to speed and distance. His mom probably has no clue, so it’s your job. It takes a family, if not a village, to teach kids.

    That bike didn’t cost that much. Would cost much less to buy a new one than to buy a new front wheel, new fenders, etc as separate parts. Plus the hassle of finding where to buy the parts, then the work to install new parts…

    Get him a used bike and tell him not to hold his breath for a new one. Responsibility has to start somewhere. Rewarding stupidity is how our government is being run.
