The folks added added onto and remodeled our farmhouse when I was in grade school. Our new living room had a large picture window with a view of the grain bins. My new bedroom was part of the old living room and I then had a big window which I loved. Especially on a sunny morning after a hard frost when I could wake up to such amazing beauty.
I can see that happening in Saskatchewan.. a forsaken province if there ever was one.
An idyllic view like that? Stop complaining! Millions of Americans in big cities would switch with you in a heartbeat!
