People who live in old houses only hear old bones!

Houses have personality. It’s how they talk to you. Every sound will have a story to tell if you listen carefully.

What was that sound on the basement?

There is a thump sound that I get in my bedroom sometimes. I haven’t the faintest idea what causes it other than temperature changes. That must be it since I seldom hear it during the Spring and Summer.

A tip for the Wiz: “Abraca-creak-on, Noises be-gone!”. Works for me.

There’s always that possibility of monsters coming out from under the bed…….aaaaakkkk

In Canadian winters, it’s because everything shrinks when the temperature plunges at night.

I hate to disabuse you of the notion that roosters only crow at dawn. They friggin crow all night long and pretty much any time they feel like it. After a couple of days of interrupted sleep, I am ready for a serious chicken dinner.

Rooster had a long night.

Halloween would be a better time time for the comic

We used to blame the noises in the night on the dog wandering around. After she passed away, they became more concerning.

Sounds like some peoples bones as they age

I snap crackle pop more than the house does.Just rotating my neck makes a sound a lot like static.

Despite the efforts of Mainstream Media telling you otherwise, roosters don’t just cackle at dawn, but any time that they are awake and no one is paying attention to them.

Because it’s dark, and you can’t see them. :)

As a kid I sort of drifted off to sleep after I heard the house creak its last creak as it cooled…

Most re-assuring….…

It’s not the dark we’re afraid of… it’s what’s in it, that we can’t see.

The dark allows one’s imagination run wild.
