You’re improving, Parker and Hart. That big, they’re not too badly drawn.

It’s the same all over – free always attracts a crowd.

Doe a deer, a female deer…..

Now you HAVE to feed them. Just include some der birth control.

Wasting disease is a major threat to the Michigan deer population. Some counties are now off limits to hunters because of a potential health threat by consuming the meat.

My backyard, I feed them hostas.

Oh, deer…this doesn’t look like a good situation!

Culling the deer population is awful! Humans take away their homes, build concrete jungles then kill them because they forage for food….BOO HISS

Word gets around quick in the animal community.

Henry likes venison.

Around here we feed EVERYTHING. And we are blessed with lots of beautiful friends.

“Huh…what did you say?” And therein lies the problem! ;o)

We have some guy in our neighborhood who thinks it’s “cute” to feed the deer in his backyard. He takes it over the top – hay, feed, salt lick, and attracts dozens of deer each night. He posts it all on facebook. He doesn’t realize that all the neighbors are really upset with him because of all the damage the deer are doing to their property. Lawns, landscaping, hostas, gardens, fences, etc.. and no one seems to want to hurt his feelings and tell him.

Feeding the deer is an investment in your future food supply. Grass turns into meat.

Leave them to Henry. He needs a ready supply of food.

I wonder if this is related to the three raccoons and two possums on our front porch…while the confused cats stare on.
