Ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaa! …………….Wait I’m tired
This would have been funnier if the Fink had to awake the duty roster guy.

Maybe I ought to try that. Thanks, Fink?
Let’s see how well the guards sleeping on duty can snooze when they’re strung up in the Fink’s dungeon.

Doesn’t sound like the king I know. His response would be an inquiry about how much jail space was available and when asked why, he would reply that he had 3 men sure to be checking in, in the morning.
re: sleeping while standing–it doesn’t neccessarily mean he worked multiple days/shifts in a row.
Many years ago I was a 21 dealer in Reno working the graveyard shift. At times there was no one playing at my table and I would find myself falling asleep, standing up, with my eyes wide open! It can happen!
it’s a good time for the Huns to invade. I figgured the king would sleep in a bassenette.
