I don’t know his kingdom, and I’m not a feminist, but the idea the women control the wealth is rather off for any nation I know of. (There are a few societies, like the Minangkabau, where the wealth is mostly held by the female-line but that may not really mean “by women.”)

OK, some logic and courage here. Need more of that today.

It is absolutely galling considering when this strip was written women were not allowed to have credit cards and bank accounts in their names. There were states where women weren’t given the pill unless their husbands allowed it. Women were expected to just take it if their boss rubs up against them. The state I live in just a few years ago finally took a law off the books stating that a wife couldn’t be raped by their husband. Tell me again how good we’ve got it!! SMFH!!
