Good luck with the strip. Nice start.
Uhhhh — OK.
This could be good, in a Charles Addams sense.
comedy and tragedy are born of the same womb
Pretty sad especially for a comic. Too close to real tragic life.
I like that Winston looks like a potato chip. And his feet look like little rollers. And the dark humor. We’ll see where it goes.
Congrats on making it to GoComics!!!! Best of luck to ya. I’ll be reading.
I like this comic! Winston is not a bad boy like Calvin (“Calvin and Hobbs”), but sometimes the dark comics are the funniest ones, especially the British comics. I absolutely adore “Andy Capp,” and “Fred Basset.” I will definitely add “Winston” to my collection.
PS: Does anyone else besides me see a little of the great Winston Churchill in Winston?
Welcome to GoComics! Let’s see how this turns out, shall we?
Mediocre comic strip. I remember a “Winston” comic strip in the mid 1980’s that was about a dog named Winston!
My fellow cartoonist friend :) Welcome to GoComics… I love your work and your humor!
I thought he looks like an egg, but potato chip works. hope it turns out good. I like the British humor too. are you a Brit?the dad in a coma is drawn great with the little nose tubes. Is Winston a kid? Does he wear kid clothes and is just dressed up today?
Me again. I like the roller skates for feet and the other kids look cute. The dad has a plethora of teeth! And really like the little boy’s belly button, I hope we get to see Winston’s belly button, it would be funny because he is so fat. From the story I would have thought he would be really skinny but may be his clothes. May he roll through the comic pages.
Reminds me of Winston Churchill and Humpty Dumpty. Will give it a try….good luck.
“Winston is an usual little boy” Not a good sign when the blurb has a typo. Things can only improve from here!
Hmmm, kind of Edward Gorey. I like Edward Gorey.Might like Andrew Hart too.
Just added you to my list! I think I’ll enjoy the warped aspect of this strip. ;-) :-D
Boy, there won’t be any black string bikinis in this toon.
Well, “Pearls Before Swine” started off very dark… death mentioned three or four times in the first week… will have to watch this strip for a bit….
I keep thinking of Poe for some reason.
I wonder from whence his Humpty Dumptian frame after seeing his mater and pater?
I’m on board. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.
It looks like Winston may be another of his father’s inventions. One of the more successful ones. Which isn’t much consolation for Winston.
This has potential – Keep it up, Hart!
How often will you update?
