Greed is probably doing a Scrooge McDuck in there. Swimming through piles of money. Or directing the Board of Director’s Synchronized Swim team.
Up to their old tricks I see. You’d think those two would take advantage of the confusion to skip town, not head for trouble. Of course, this raises the question of whether they are attracted to Greed or completely immune to it.
So our protagonists in these panels have numbers on their clothes…jail garb, perhaps? Indicating escaped prisoners?
Although if the entire arrested criminal population of Widdershins can be cataloged by a 2-digit number, perhaps Capt. Barber’s job isn’t as tough as one might think.
