He probably got fed up with people from the office calling to verify that he spelt names correctly. Back in the 80’s my mother went around door to door as a census taker. She had at least 5 phone calls on one Asian gentleman’s name she recorded… Suk Bum Lee. Everyone who say her list though there was a spelling mistake. Which really makes you wonder how they though Lee was supposed to be spelt?
