My money is on Wallace’s Mom owning the complete collection of Parliament Funkadelic LPs!
A bicycle is growing out of the tree?!?!?
Like the presence of the bat boxes.
Umm, I’m not sure “parley” is the right word here, since Wallace isn’t offering terms to the squirrels. Maybe “truce.”
There’s a sliding scale of what the term means in given circumstances. It can be as simple as a conference between opposing sides or to engage in such a conference or a call for such a conference.
The subscript on the flag: Tangina Barrons would approve.
RIP Zelda Rubenstein.
I’ve never seen a disgusted, disapproving squirrel before.
na na na na na na BAT BOX!
Love the “cow bird”.
Do not disturb the Borders..
Up, up, up past the Russell Hotel
Up, up, up, up to the Heaviside Layer
Wallace, Make the fort at the bike’s level would be better
Wallace found that flag rolled up and under the back seat of his weird Uncle Ray’s VW Van.
I misread that flag at first and wondered how he got it past the censors….
Those with acrophobia certainly NOT WELCOME.
I really just love this comic strip so much.
What did he offer the squirrels? Must have been a bike from 70 years ago. Cool location…..
I have to say, those are probably the most brutish-looking squirrels I’ve ever seen – at least this side of the Ordinary Bill squirrels! No wonder Wallace is calling for Parley in the face of that kind of menace. They look ready for action!
What bird says “Moo” ?
Think this is extreme? Wait till you see the ‘secret handshake.’
Even Rose has her doubts. Spud is Spud and Emelia keeps things honest.
That bicycle has been there a very long time.
What is the caption below the top bat box?
Can totally see Wallace as a Funkadelic fan.
Fort Funkadelic? Yazza Dazza Dooza Bubba!
Good ole Amelia, Taker of Souls
I’m guessing it’s predawn, and you see the sunlight earlier near the top of the tree. ?
That’s not the way trees grow. Somebody lifted it up there. More at:
Birds can moo??
Parley: pirate squirrels?
Did anyone notice the bird mooing on panel 4? Hahahah.
Bats live in batboxes now?
