    ^ Wow, an apologist for BP. They should hire you (but then you might have to pay taxes and we don’t want that, do we?)

    BP was at fault for not maintaining their blow out prevention equipment and it is alleged that they falsified data pertaining to safety checks on blow out prevention kit elsewhere in Alaska

    “They believed in good faith that they had back-up systems. They were wrong.”

    The problem is that they skimped too much on maintenance and backup. Sure, we don’t need to line them against a wall and shoot them, but they do deserve some blame for that.
