First little piggy catches a bullet and he dies;
Next little piggy gets a bullet in the eye;
Last little piggy falls to his knees and cries, cause he’s blown away, blown away, blownn a-wayyyyyy.
The second amendment. There just when you need it.
Apologies to Randy Newman.
This is probably an obscure reference. It comes from Randy Newman’s musical version of Faust. This is part of a song sung by Notre Dame student Henry Faust before the Devil pays him a call. Henry is a little emotionally disturbed.
My memory of the words was off just a bit. Here’s the correct verse, from “Bless the Children of the World”:
All the little piggies
Up against the wall
All the little piggies ‘gainst the wall
(‘Gainst the wall)
One little piggie
Catch a bullet and he falls
Now there’s one less piggie ‘gainst the wall
(‘Gainst the wall)
Next little piggie
Gets a bullet in the eye
(Bullet in the eye)
Last little piggie
Falls to his knees and cries
‘Cause he’s blown away blown away
Blown away
I had the “a hundred bottles of beer on the wall, a hundred bottles of beer” tune in my head, listening to your post.
Has any televangelist ever said that tune promotes drunkeness and campaigned to have it banned, like the fellow who said Tinky-Winky and Peppermint Patty were gay messages?

Whoa, charliekane, stark image indeed. Just when I was laughing at the Big Bad Wolf. And those empowered ticked off piggies.
