Fair ‘nuff?.The government goes to extreme lengths to protect PII, requiring training of all government employees every year on the subject, and have set up extreme penalties for non-compliance. Ok, the NSA stuff is disconcerting, but not the same thing. It’s my opinion that commercial ferrets, hackers, and corporations play fast and loose with PII, and sell or share that information.
