Actually, I just read that 40% of Chinese steel imports are tariff free and 80% of Chinese aluminum imports are tariff free. Compare that to 2% of Canadian steel and aluminum imports. Who is Trump going after, the Chinese or us? Just goes to show he has no idea of what’s going on. He just throws random stuff out there to impress his base that he’s actually accomplishing something.
I am so sick of all this trade talk and its effects on Wall Street. One week trade issues with China seems to be a problem. Next week the markets shrug it off. This will probably be an on and off issue for the rest of Trump’s term.
