^Thanks, wasn’t aware of all the hoopla involved. Just went to read up on it. Looks like even those in Guam aren’t entirely happy that part of the US marines currently stationed in Okinawa will be moving to Guam. I see that there will still be a substancial presence in Okinawa, just elsewhere on the island. Which still hasn’t much satisfied the Okinawans.
Remove the US troops form Okinawa, which after all was occupied in 1945. Relations with Japan must be based on the world as it is now, not the world as it was 55 years ago… For those not up to date on the region, Japan focus (http://www.japanfocus.org/) has published a number of valuable articles on this issue….

Not sure of the caricatures, but moving our folks to Guam is a result of treaty obligations.
