The gentleman from Brazil is incorrect in his depiction of America, Biden, Afghanistan and the “Indians”.
America was never “using” Afghanistan as a shield, as depicted, from anyone or anything.
American weaponry was not and is not ever looked upon as a toy – the governments and other institutions USING them sometimes act like “children” but the weapons, themselves are quite effective and deadly.
Biden, as America, was not acting as a Sherriff in Afghanistan but rather as a negotiator and trainer – we were trying to “teach” the Afghanis how to stand on their own two feet, while it became all too apparent that the upper echelons of the Afghan military and the politicians were ONLY trying to line their pockets with American dollars and couldn’t care less about the fate or well-being of their country – in short, the cartoon is wrong in every respect and should be ignored!
Leaving aside the racist, outdated “cowboys and Indians” imagery, the previous president negotiated an even earlier exit with the outlaws instead of the local sheriff, leaving the “Indians” (citizens) at the mercy of the outlaws.
The Taliban are going to have their hands full with IS-K. Not sure how long, but eventually, they will be asking China to occupy them. Much as they don’t mind being helped and armed by Russia, I don’t think they actually want Russia making a full on military occupation again.
Look at all these left wing apologists for incompetent Joe Biden. He’s done an incredible amount of damage to the USA on the world stage. President Trump would never have left Americans and Afghan allies behind as well as $85 billion of equipment. The Taliban now has a very well equipped military with attack aircraft, Blackhawk helicopters, drones, C130 transports, over 600,000 machine guns, thousands of small arms and over 50,000 optical and night-sight devices. Jeez, most of the civilian optical and night sight devices sold here in the USA comes with a caveat that they cannot be sold or transported outside the USA! And Biden allowed thousands of high end military grade night vision devices to fall into the hands of Taliban terrorists. Night fighting was one of the big advantages we had over the Taliban. Biden tossed it away.

Everyone tried to keep Afghanistan away from Russian influence, when the Russians occupied Afghanistan, they were fought until they left.
