…and the largest producer of tin is…?
Yeah, even the tin cup is probably Chinese.
Talk about a country getting rich on the backs (and arms, legs, fingers, toes and children) of its populace.
The myth that the 8% of workers in the U.S. who actually belong to unions are responsible for all inflation and “evil” in the economy might also be taken way too seriously, especially by those on the right?
dtroutma, it was over 12% in 2009, and I wouldn’t say they caused inflation. I would say they had a big hand in pushing jobs overseas along with Wall Street’s drive for companies to increase profits year after year.
No matter who was in charge look to our non-representing representatives for the problem. Demonizing Wall street is a trick being used to escape the wrath of the people.
I’d say demonizing congress is a trick the Wall Street talking heads use to escape the wrath of the people.
After their stellar performance, in which a few CEO big players turned thousands’ and millions’ investments into chickenfeed (and got themselves bonuses for it), they get bailed out with taxpayer money, pay themselves more bonuses, and everything is fine and dandy.
Yet the people are angry, for whatever reason? Why, then it is all because of big government! Big government is the problem! Not us, we are all honest, hard-working businesspeople!
Magnaut, I’m surprised you actually believe that stuff. If the “people” are angry at government, they are just as angry with Wall Street - and they didn’t need a slew of pundits and talk show hosts to tell them that. They just needed to read the news of the latest bonuses.
