I am so tired of the Al Gores and Barbra Streisands telling us to conserve while they have the life of the priviledged. Cap and trade, let us trade the vapid and selfish for people that have brains in their cap!
Big black Limo’s? I guess we know who is getting rich on the climate change laws being forced on the USA, and the Western world. Read this http://ethiomedia.com/course/4591.html
BoxCar66: Oddly enough I had read the same piece by Alemayehu G. Mariam at the Huffington Post
Did you actually read the whole article, or just read where he says ”The global warming debate has also offered African dictators a historic opportunity to guilt-trip the industrialized countries and rob them blind.” ?
The article is more a criticism of African dictators’ hypocrisy. The urgency Alemayehu G. Mariam promotes is ridding Africa of its dictators, he says ”Africa faces an ecological collapse not because of climate change but because of lack of regime change.”
Hmmmm, Africa- Sweitzer, Livingstone, and other European “ministries” a century ago converting folks- Egypt, a real crypt of ignorance for centuries- oh right, the influence of Greece- well, for a few centuries B.C., kind of like those Asians with their “pagan” wisdom, much of it taught a few centuries before Christians plagiarized it. Right.

^ …will take one statement from the entire article and run with that only thus missing the entire point of the author’s article.

omQ R - true enough. And when they’ve nothing to say it’s time to whip out the old “commie /lib” dodge.

Libs like to hide the tough truths in the fine print.
