NOTE: Sing to “The Liberty Bell,” the march by John Philip Sousa

(Verse parts relate to the theme for “Monty Python’s Flying Circus.”)

    “The Autocratic Trio March”

This terrible viral pandemic seems to be going well,

All over the word disorder spreads, things slide slowly to hell.

The loads of money we’ll make from this will make us quite wealthy —

We’ll divvy up the nations, then, among Putin, Xi, and me.

The Liberty Bell was made cracked, a new one cast.

Autocracies are more solid, today’s toughest made to last.

Democracies aren’t in fashion now, as always it is true,

When people get scared they give up rights, dictatorships ensue.

When a convenient crisis happens, make haste when time’s just right,

Intentional wrong decisions extend a plague’s bell curve height.

Meanwhile those pesky freedoms we’ll deflate and box away,

Assuring crowds we’ll re-inflate them to float them back some day.

For just a few months, let the people mourn,

When all is done and in place, a stricter world be born!

And we will make the rules, the masses be our tools,

And Orwell’s vision will come true.

    Bad thoughts will be known!

    Privacy o’er thrown!

The people may groan — just silently.

The Future then will be ours!

    We’ll be Superstars!

    Smoke money cigars (metaphoric’ly).

And as high rulers, we’ll control it all,

The oligarchists will be with our thrall.

    The world bows once again

    Beneath our weight, and then

    Remaining freedoms bid adieu!

Basically the Republicans said it was ok for the Russians to help them in our next election, even though that goes directly against the Constitution. Expect a lot of lying, cheating and stealing at the next election because Republicans can’t win otherwise.

The inscription on the Liberty Bell reads; “Proclaim LIBERTY Throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants Thereof: Lev. XXV.” What kind of dangerous left-wing socialist crap is THAT? /S

When this crisis is finally over, the hardest part for the survivors will be listening to the Creature crow over how he is solely responsible of the successful outcome ….. greatest, most incredible feat of all time ever in the history of the entire world or the beginning of time.

‘Follow the money’: MSNBC contributor blows the lid off Trump’s personal stake in drug he’s pushing as COVID-19 cure

Scarborough pointed to new revelations from the New York Times, which reported that Trump and his family had investments in a Dodge & Cox mutual fund, whose largest holding is Sanofi — the French drugmaker that produces the brand-name version of hydroxychloroquine and sells it overseas.

Other Trump associates and administration officials — including Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Republican donor Ken Fisher and pharmaceutical executive Chirag Patel — also have ties to companies that produce the drug.

“So two things are possible here,” Robinson said. “It is possible that Donald Trump is perfectly aware of these investments, and his potential stake in this drug, and that this is all deliberate. It’s also possible that he, he’s open to manipulation by friends and cronies, his billionaire Mar-A-Lago friends, who have these investments, and who are pushing him in this direction.”

Meanwhile, in NJ the feds have seized a county’s order of face masks that were ordered to protect First Responders, Nurses, and Physicians:

so that can possible be considered scatter shot murder, and similarly scatter shot murder is happening in Wisconsin where Trump political and court cronies are forcing poll workers and voters to face risks instead of simply delaying the election day.

My hope for both is that as many people around the world as possible learn of these things, and my hope for the second is that enough Wisconsin Republicans write-in vote for someone OTHER than Trump for the Republican candidate to signal to the nation that not everyone is willing to completely surrender their morals to go along with these attacks on American citizens.

Republicans HAVE to lie and cheat in any way they can. When people are given a choice of two statements on issues that actually affect their everyday life, one that describes the Republican position and the other the Democrat’s, the Democratic position is chosen by about 80% of Democrats and Independents. No surprise there. The weird part is that just under half of Republicans also choose Democrat positions, unless they are told which position is supported by each party. Then they fall into line and choose the Republican option- 78% of the time. So, it is entirely reasonable for Republicans to lie a lot. The people running the Republican party are in that half of the Republicans who actually believe in Republican positions. They are roughly 25% of the voting public. They have no chance of ever winning a national election unless they keep as many people as possible from voting and keep the rest of them confused enough to vote against their own best interests.

A friend of mine worked for the Whitechapel Bell Foundry to the end. They responded to claims that their casting of the Liberty Bell was faulty by pointing out that it was shipped incorrectly, against their recommendation, but that if we will send it back to them, they will gladly recast it, using the original mold—which they still had!
