    You don’t get to call anything. Moscow Mitch and his party voted that your own only role is to sit down, shut up, and rule as he tells you.

    Whatever honesty or integrity Roberts has, has no place anywhere Republicans are in control.

    Moscow Mitch will not allow anything resembling that.

    Hiss-boo to McConnell – {4 beats/line}

    Against McConnell we’ve long since fussed,

    and shot him our finger, and fumed and cussed

    that his gobsmacking wiles leave the Senate nonplussed,

    and destroy any semblance of comity and trust.

    He should loudly call it as he sees it even if he can’t prevent it, he’s respected by some on the right.

    For Trump the Repugnantans vouch,

    tho’ he clearly should be on the couch

    of a certified shrink.

    Wouldn’t you think

    that instead, – against Trump they should grouch?

    “The Cad Batter”

    .

    Mitch in political uniform is a slugger;

    In normal life he would be deemed vicious mugger.

    As hit man designated by his manager, Trump,

    He gives the head of Democracy far more than a bump.

    Then he has additional misuse for that bat …

    (But let’s not stretch this metaphor further into that!)

    .

    Mitch the Pitch quite simply must enjoy his hack work —

    You can tell by his ever incipient snide smirk.

    And his occasional little quiver and spasm

    Could mean he is having a hidden orgasm.

    His Republican flock he keeps tightly in line,

    They seem to agree his Sheepocracy baaa-ndy and fine.

    .

    If Justice prevails (but it hasn’t lately, much),

    Mitch in his glory with his manure Midas touch

    Will get his comeuppance, in this life or next.

    St. Peter might click on his File of Lives text

    And read the achievements that Mitch proudly claims —

    Then appoint him to endless terms in Hell’s flames.

    Justice’s Just Deserts – {limerick}

    The Donald deserves disapproval

    and ignominious removal.

    And too the RepCong,

    for being so wrong.

    These all deserve our reproval.

    Everyone knows the Orange Buffoon is just going to get an intentional pass. It’s not because he’s a fearsome slugger, it’s that they need him to move along before the drool covers home plate.

    Under baseball rules it’s interference by either the catcher or the batter. Do any known rules apply here?

    Not blind – just Republican.

    That horseshit about “we don’t have Democrat or Republican judges” – well, at this point, it’s pretty obvious what that’s worth.
