    That’s really not surprising. The chosen one has already exposed the spiritual bankruptcy of the GOP. How else do you explain the least Christian person who ever lived being supported by the conservative Christian right?

    If the Republican leadership really believed in an all powerful, all knowing god who supports good and abhors evil, the GOP wouldn’t attempt 1/100th of the crap they keep trying to get away it. For them, religion is all just part of the con.

    Why the Rs are Feckless – {limerick & url}

    Here is the bottom line

    why Rs with The Donald align,

    why they’re weak in their spine,

    why they’re feckless, supine,

    why to Plutocrats their souls they consign:

    Not only is trump guilty…the whole Fractured GOP party needs to be indicted, for obstruction of justice, and not passing bills that are piled up on DIRTY Mitches desk. Another shooting, more murders of children, and protecting a treasonist pig! When does this end? HOW MUCH MORE will AMERICANS take of this corrupted govt? What’s it going to take to get justice in America? Pathetic

    If you don’t like established Christian traditions/teachings of brotherly love, caring for the poor/needy, and separation of church and state, etc then create your own religious cult with different more exclusive interpretations? That way even the resident can be viewed positively by a select minority.

    If there was REAL justice, fat-ass would suffer a debilitating stroke, complete with a total loss of bodily functions ON LIVE TELEVISION, in front of MILLIONS! We would ALL watch as he collapses like a punctured Baby trump Balloon, soiling himself, and spewing gibberish as he lies twitching in a puddle of his own waste!

    GOD, I’d laugh….and laugh… and laugh….

    “Just another unelected career official.”

    Having had worked for a company for many years, I witnessed the Big Shots with Big Ideas come and go, often causing great harm and bringing effective management and company reputation down — while the long-time career workers of much lower status worked steadily and faithfully behind the scenes to keep things going smoothly. It’s nearly the same thing with America Coporation, currently under the poor management of The Great Deal-Maker, Trump.

     Brother Thomas was a monk who saw things a little differently. Every day he debated with 3 other friars. At the end, they would always say, “Sorry, Brother Thomas, it is 3 to 1 against you.”

     They said it again after one day of heated debate, but then the clouds opened up, a blinding light shone down, and a booming voice proclaimed “BROTHER THOMAS IS RIGHT!”

     The other brothers were amazed. They glanced at one another for reassurance, and finally one of them said “OK, it’s 3 to 2 against you.”

    And so it goes with True Believers, who remain 100% convinced of whatever pile of horse puckey they long ago accepted on faith, no matter what contradictory evidence is offered up to them.

    It is amazing to see how many of the Religious Right who are, in their own minds at least, a moral shining light actually are able to overlook the fact that they are avidly supporting a person who has no morals at all.

    .. For at least the past two generations, Republicans have depended on them to support the GOP, and they have been very dependable, despite the fact that very few of them have enough money that they were not working against their own best interests. The Republicans have convinced them that they believed in a Family Values agenda- anti-gay, anti-abortion, etc. Somehow they managed not to notice that once Republicans were elected, they completely ignored that agenda, or made it a trade-off for securing the goals of the 1%ers who were controlling the Republican party. In fact, they rarely mentioned those issues unless they were using them as a bargaining chip—- until the next time they needed volunteers to work for their candidates, when it again became their mantra. After all these years, the Religious Right apparently has finally figured out that the Establishment Republicans are playing them for fools, but they are still believing a lot of the lies that they have heard all their lives, so they would vote for Satan in full costume with his trident over any Democrat. The fact that they elected Donald Trump, who has the Family Values credentials of an extremely active tomcat, is an indication of just how totally they have been taken in by the GOP.
