Good thing the Republicans planned way ahead and have been weaning their voters off facts and reality for quite some time now.

This is not politics as usual. Even though it is what the GOP, The Maroon, and too many other politicians are doing. Makes me sad. Or maybe, more like angry.

When you’re an narcissistic egomaniac you think you can get away with anything. American justice that no one is above the law needs to catch up.

Every generation – or nearly every, has had to confront an existential threat to the democratic republic established by John Adams and others. This is ours.

And yet, there are STILL idiotic, moronic, inbred, BONE -STUPID people who STILL believe in that Fat Orange Sack of Maggot-infested, Rancid Dog Droppings…. And what’s worse is that they can wander the streets without proper supervision, get driver’s licenses, buy guns, actually work with YOUR kids, and, worst of all, VOTE!

How does the resident’s obstruction benefit/unite We the People? Who does the obstruction benefit? Will young diverse, well-educated voters want leaders who obstruct transparency, rights, and freedoms?

It’s a trick-or-treater in a Trump costume defacing the billboard for a laxative product. (Oh, isn’t this “The New Yorker” website?) —)

Nixon wasn’t actually insane, or if he was he didn’t have tweets to announce the fact on an hourly basis. The difference is that the Republicans wanted to save their party from being dragged down with him, so they cut him loose. Today, the Republican base has been fed lies for the last generation or so. They believe in what Trump is selling, believe that no matter how disgusting he is personally, he is standing up for the lies they believe in. The Republicans have been feeding off that fabric of lies for generations, and if it’s gone, so is the Republican party.
