Trump build a wall to kick California out of the Union?
Hey, I’m in California. Sure, we can secede, Trump won’t even wage a Civil War to save the Union (because he can easily win the Electoral College without us and he will be as glad to get rid of us as we are to be rid of him) and we become the fifth largest economy in the world and the rest of you can have Trump all to yourselves!
Hey, maybe we can get blue states Washington, Oregon and Hawaii to go with us (and after the election, Nevada has a blue governor and both house of the legislature, so, welcome aboard). We could call the new nation “Pacifica.”
Polarization. It’s killing the “United” States of America. And trumpy feeds it on a minute to minute basis. You all lap it up, even DD Wiz plays into his tiny hands, and, clearly Zom Vee and many, many others. I say this as an ex-pat, someone who is 70 years old and has lived more than half his life in Europe. A disillusioned Vietnam vet, who has seen a lot, been around the world 1 and 1/2 times, visited about 25 different countries, so I feel qualified to observe it from afar, and say Polarization, is there any hope? I’m hopeful, but only because I’m the optimist of the bunch. Good luck. I’m not religious but spiritual enough to “pray” for you all. For us all, actually.
It’s not as if the money Trump is sealing should be spent on what Congress allocated it for. Trump’s vanity project are, according to him, more important.
You need to be two Californias, North and South as does Texas need to be three states as North, East and West. And then along with those changes, elect presidents by plurality.

It included these among its 9 notional nations:
Mexamerica — the southern and Central Valley portions of California as well as southern Arizona, the portion of Texas bordering on the Rio Grande, most of New Mexico, northern Mexico, and the Baja California Peninsula. Capital: Los Angeles.
Ecotopia — the Pacific Northwest coast west of the Cascade Range and the Coast Mountains, as well as several Alaskan Pacific Coast Ranges, stretching from Alaska down through coastal British Columbia, Washington state, Oregon, and into California just north of Santa Barbara. Capital: San Francisco.
Why don’t we just build a wall around Mar-a-Lago, put tRump behind it? That way he can live in his own little tRumpLand and we don’t have to put up with his crap and get us a new POTUS.
If we gave California back to Mexico, they might build that wall. Then again, they would probably want Texas, New Mexico and Arizona thrown into the deal. And since they’re negotiating with the “world’s greatest deal maker”, they can probably get whatever they want.
