The Dems, as usual, have no intestinal fortitude.

Speaker Pelosi knows that she’ll never get PяesiDunce Donnie the Unfit convicted in the Senate, so she’s pushing him over the edge, making him barking mad instead. It torments failing Very S. Genius to all the time be hearing what sounds to him like the merry tinkle of Nancy’s laughter mocking him from up on the Hill. He sees her vicious smile when he closes his porcine eyes. It’s making him crazy(er). What’s more, Benedict Donald knows that it’s the Speaker who decides if and when he gets impeached, and just how bad it will be for him. He dares not mock her in return, for she has him by his “jewels,” or more like by his raisins. It is so sweet, so very, very right, that it’s a woman bringing sad little Donnie Johnnie low.

Doesn’t the fact that the parties no longer trust each other, no longer respect each other, and no longer can count on the other party to do the right things for all of we the people indicate that our political system no longer works?

Without common goals, we are no longer a nation bound together by a constitution and bill of rights asserting equality but are no better than two warring tribes fighting for ultimate control but offering no real solutions to the issues that everyone has to deal with.

Sadly, he could turn a failed impeachment into a win. If only the Dems controlled the Senate. But stay tuned, events are moving quickly.

Nancy Pelosi is right to resist the instant gratification Dems and to wait for more support from the public, the courts and from more evidence to come. With no chance of a conviction in the Senate, there is no need for impeachment this year. Give trump more rope to hang himself and start impeachment next year. A failed conviction this year will leave too much time before the elections for the public to forget the reasons for impeachment.

We ALL know that the lying loser has committed multiple impeachable offenses. And we all know, too, that the senate turtle will not allow a fair trial in the senate, at least as long as most of his fellow republicans are spineless. So the Democrats in the House vote to impeach, the senate refuses to convict, and the lying loser trumpets to the sky how he was acquitted and was never guilty. Speaker Pelosi is smart enough to figure this out. Keep the pressure on the lying loser, and let public sentiment build!

If only Trump had a missing 18 minutes of tape, it would be a slam dunk. Nothing this titanic yet.

Undemocratic Trump and Mitch are not cooperating with dems at all.

Dems might as well start impeachment, what else can they do?

The Dems in the House ought to go ahead with their committee investigations and proceed with cinsure as that is all they’ll be able to do with a Repub senate.

If Mr. McConnell won’t bring legislation to the floor of the Senate which, in his opinion, the president will not support, does anyone really think he’d bring an impeachment proceeding to the Senate? I think Ms. Pelosi’s strategy is sound. Build the case. Let the man who said, “Only I can fix it” continue to break it. Now that he’s said he won’t work on any legislation until all investigations are halted, we see more of the real Donald Trump.

Remember folk.. impeaching the trump means you get Pence.. As an old saying goes.. “out of the frying pan into the fire”. Should Pence be president going into the next election.. there just might be enough sentiment to elect him..

Speaker Pelosi.. might have the best approach.. expose the trump as the lying cheat he is.. and let him (and supporting party) lose at the ballot box. But.. that assumes the Russians (and friends) are not able to influence the election… You guys are screwed no matter which way you turn.

I thought the constitutional crisis was taking the form of a criminal president; now I’m wondering if it isn’t a feckless House of Representatives? Yeah, it’s both.

The House has sent over 100 Bills to the Senate so far this year and Mitch has refused to allow them to be acted upon in the Senate. The House can Investigate even as they Legislate and need to continue to do both, loudly and Publicly. Let the people know where the obstruction is, let’s get Mitch thrown to the curb as well as Trump. Make sure everyone knows the House can walk and chew gum but the Senate can’t seem to do either. Voters need to know what the Republicans are doing and refuse to let them continue even if it is only enough to make the hard core Republicans who just couldn’t bring themselves to vote for a Democrat, to just stay home and not vote. Exactly what happen in 2016 but in reverse,

Here is the thing: PUBLIC hearings featuring (at least some) of the criminals surrounding the criminal Li’l Donnie would absolutely destroy any chance he had of winning in 2020. No matter what the Senate does or doesn’t do. As for Pence, yes, he is a dishonest cowardly bigot, yet he has no real hold on Trump’s base. (After all, they only voted for Trump because he played on the TV!) Impeach Trump yet fail to remove him, it won’t matter: he would lose in 2020 if he even ran. (His increasing dementia makes me think he WON’T run. That is, if Ivanka can get through to him……..) Impeach Trump and Pence won’t win in 2020, either.

Absolutely, right! Less than an hour ago I called my representative and told her she needed to remind Nancy Pelosi that her oath was to protect the Constitution and from all enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC, not the 2020 Presidential race.

Now is a great time to do the full investigation which might lead to impeachment. Unless they come up with something that even McConnell cannot stomach (I cannot imagine what that might be), then letting the Senate act as a jury for an impeachment trial would let him claim he’d been proven innocent. So the best course, I think, is to continue to investigate and bring more facts to light, right up through October 2020.
