Manafort. Trump. Two grifter con men scam artists.
They think they are smart.
These pathetic amateurs are going up against Robert Mueller. They are so far overmatched it is humiliating if you are a gullible sucker Trump supporter, and exhilarating if you are not (both liberal and conservative).
If Comrade TRUMPovich McBonespurs messes with Mueller, that draft-dodger has picked a fight with the wrong Bronze Star (with “V” for Valor) / Purple Heart war hero.
Robert Mueller volunteered, went to Vietnam, and was a highly decorated war hero.
Trump avoided Vietnam by claiming “bone spurs” (although he had been active in college sports and playing soldier at military school) but supported the war as long as someone else was sent to die in his place.
Trump, who has been a Democrat, Independent, Libertarian and only recently hijacked a RepubliCON party of gullible suckers who easily welcomed his snake oil scams, has a long history of lying.
Mueller is a life-long Republican with an impeccable reputation as a straight shooter and has never been caught in dishonesty or scandal of any kind.
In a long history as a prosecutor and head of the FBI, Mueller has never been caught in any wrongdoing.
Trump has repeatedly been sued for fraud and was denied a Las Vegas casino permit based on moral grounds.
Trump’s plan is to pardon himself and anyone involved who doesn’t testify against him. The result will be that he’ll have to weather the lawsuits that have been initiated at the state level and he’ll stay in office. Then he’ll probably start a war to look “presidential”.
I would really appreciate it if someone refutes this.
Of all the crooks surrounding Li’l Donnie (you know, Flynn, Cohen, Whittaker, Don Jr. , Eric, Ivanka, Jared, etc.), Manafort has actually been a crook longer than anybody except for Trump himself. I think he ought to get credit for his longevity!
If you read Bob Woodward’s book Fear, you learn that John Dowd, the president’s lawyer, begged and pleaded with him not to testify to the Mueller investigation, because Dowd had learned from personal experience that the prez couldn’t go 5 minutes without bragging, lying, inventing, conflating, etc., all while insisting that he and he alone was 100% correct about everything.
My ongoing concern is that somebody around him will mention that the nation always rallies behind the commander in chief in times of war and his immediate instinct is “Aha! An opportunity! Fortune favors the bold! Where’s my Big Red Button?”.
Richard S Russell: What delicious irony. Dowd insisted on written answers for just that reason, and now with Cohen’s testimony, we have Trump’s lies in writing. He’s done like dinner.

Funny, but inaccurate: Trump is shown neither tweeting nor actively ruining the country.
