Reagan and Daddy Bush broke the economy and Clinton came along and, running on “it’s the economy, stupid,” came along and fixed it, turning then-record Reagan/Bush deficits into budget surpluses coupled with peace and prosperity.

Bush Jr inherited the Clinton peace and prosperity and transformed it into terrorism (by missing obvious signs and failing to connect dots), two wars (including invading the wrong country), new record deficits and total economic meltdown.

Obama inherited the Bush debacle of terrorism, wars and economic collapse, mostly wound down the wars, reduced the deficit by two-thirds, and created an all-time record of 84 consecutive monthly job gains.

Trump is still riding the Obama momentum, though we see it slowing, and with new record deficits, job-killing tariffs, and corporate welfare and tax giveaways for the rich to be paid for out of Social Security and Medicaid, we can see the new coming Trump economic meltdown.

Republicans break it. Democrats fix it. It’s what they do.

Republicans lie and create false equivalencies about every issue. It’s what they do.

Inclusion implies cooperation and compromise; I guess that is “extreme” for those who favor exclusion, bigotry, and prejudices.

Also remember that to Republicans, “Compromise” means "Do EXACTLY what WE want, with NO DISCUSSION, or we will accuse you of “obstructionism”, and blame EVERYTHING on you!"

    Democrats: “Saving what we can.”

    Republicans: “Kristallnacht!”

On a side note, shouldn’t those little enclosures simply have doors that open?

Let’s be frank here, folks. When Republicans shout about “taking America back”, they mean taking it away from the rest of us. They fantasize about a return to a time where they told the rest of us how to live, how to talk, where to go, and the rest of us listened if we knew what was good for us. (Might end up at the end of an impromptu “tree swing”, or dragged behind a truck, otherwise.) Their version of “law and order” is “we are the law, and you do what we order you to”. They believe it to be the natural order of things that they have all the power, that God Himself placed them on this Earth to keep the rest of us under control.

Only they are welcome in their America. Why should we give it to them?
