And what is most amazing is that the so-called evangelical “Christians” are the one who support Trump’s effort to repeal all the teachings of Jesus with just an executive order! And they worship him!

Every aspect of modern conservative “Christianity” is the polar opposite of what Jesus reportedly taught.

Help the poor? Feed the hungry? Heal the sick?

Welcome the foreigner? Drive out the money changers?

(Today’s conservative “Christians” ARE the money changers)

The conservative wing of “Christianity” does not follow Jesus, they follow the renegade “apostle” Paul, who completely contradicted Jesus on every key point of doctrine, theology, law, morality and ethics.

    Conservative “Christians” follow Paul.

Liberal Christians try to follow Jesus.

For specific examples, including chapter-and-verse references to how Paul contradicts Jesus:

Many religions preach some variation on “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” The problem is that many people don’t care to pay attention to that admonition, and even if they do, they hate themselves, so…

The fact that Evangelicals feel resentment toward well-reasoned establishment religions should have been a warning sign. The very concept of nationalism runs against Christian doctrine. The fallacy of their exclusion by ethnicity comes to light when you realize there is no unique American DNA to benchmark against.

Well, the Bible IS the most adapted, edited, revised, changed, modified, re-written, and abridged collection of fables, fairy-tales, and folk legends in history…so why the hell not?

Right wing extremists think they can change the Constitution and the Bible with the stoke of a pen, vote them all out.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”-C.S. Lewis

(Gilead will be like that, what the Plutocrats put in as our watch dogs as Keith Olbermann essentially said it back in 2012.)

    Evangelists are the new Pharisees.

The survey revealed that 51% of the North American Christians polled all possess attitudes and actions that are more like the Pharisees than they are like Christ.

In other words, the attitudes of most Christians were described as self-righteous and hypocritical.

According to the study, only 14% of Christians surveyed reflected attitudes and actions that better resembled the attitudes and actions of Christ.

Jesus condemned the Pharisees for their pride, lack of compassion and hypocrisy.

That would be the Trump “Translation.” There are still several other Translations that do not agree with your “Translation”!
