nothing good is going out of either of these creatures for 99% of americans. putin is laughing, feeling mighty good, and is going to give his trolls extra cabbage for their borscht….even his t-rump traitor loving trolls who make comments on this comic website.
Conservative pundit David Brooks:Trump and Bannon have filled the void with their own creed, which is anti-biblical. The American story they tell is not diverse people journeying toward a united future. It’s a zero-sum struggle of class and ethnic conflict. The traits Trump embodies are narcissism, not humility; combativeness, not love; the sanctification of the rich and blindness toward the poor…The Republican senators went to the White House and saw a president so repetitive and rambling, some thought he might be suffering from early Alzheimer’s. But they know which way the wind is blowing. They gave him a standing ovation.The people who oppose Trump make a big error: “Let’s Get Togetherism.” This is the belief that if we can only have a civil conversation between red and blue, then everything will be better. But you can’t destroy a moral vision with a process. You need a counter-moral vision.The people who reluctantly collaborate with Trump make a different error: economism. This is the belief that Trump’s behavior is tolerable because at least Republicans can pass a tax cut. People who believe that value money more than morals. Trumpism is not just economic, and it can’t be thwarted by passing a bit of economic policy.
And somehow, the GOP with it’s staunch commitment to maintaining a shiny, shallow facade, manages to continue to convince WAY too many Americans to keep voting Republican. Despite the myriad facts and truths which would indicate to anyone with any shred of common sense that doing so could only ever be considered the WORST POSSIBLE COURSE OF ACTION that anyone could take!
“That any political party would attempt, as the Republicans did, to pay for a tax cut by cutting health benefits from the poorest is, indeed, souless.” — OLDCOAL
..Additionally, it now appears, they will give the richest Americans more money by adding it to the National debt so our children, grand-children and their children can pay for it.
Bannon wants to be a king maker. He’s going to try to get as many of those whack job extreme right wing Republican screwballs elected as he can. He might even run for president. If he can’t be the power behind the throne, he’s going to take the throne. At least I think that’s how his brain is working. I know he wants to kill the GOP as it stands today. Do you really think his Feud with Trump is real???
The problem with this cartoon is that the racism in the GOP is not new, it’s just more overt. Since the big Rethug/Dem switch over civil rights in the 60s, the GOP has been a comfortable home for the racists. The dog whistle has just morphed into a foghorn.

How anyone can vote for these utterly creepy republican frauds is beyond me, but then no one ever actually elected Bannon to anything.

GLOOMY RUMINATION – {1.60 limericks}
An old man’s rumination: …
… I live in a gloomy nation.
No elation.
A sinking sensation
throughout my last days’ duration.
What’s the causation? -
- It’s the Rightwing’s negation
of civility’s very foundation.
