Over 80 years ago Will Rogers allowed as how “we have the best Congress money can buy.” I’m not so sure. In spite of the obscene amounts of money recently spent on it both overtly and covertly and by someone other than either you or me, we certainly have from almost anyone’s perspective a Congress that is just about the worst that anyone other than an out-and-out traitor could imagine.
