Sophomore level – can ‘god’ create a thing so heavy that ‘god’ can’t lift it?

He also cannot make a square triangle because the question is self contradictory and therefore nonsense. There is no such thing as a square triangle by definition nor a task omnipotence cannot do. “Nothing is impossible for God.” Poorly paraphrased from Frank Sheed.

God said; “I refuse to prove that I exist, because proof denies faith, and without faith, I am nothing!”

“But,” says man, “the Babel Fish is a dead giveaway! It could NOT have evolved purely by chance ! It proves you exist, so therefore, you don’t!”

And God says “Oh dear, I hadn’t thought of that….” and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.

One is not an absolute in real life. 1+1 = between 1.7 and 3.1 depending on the size of your ones.

A sad young man came back from university and spoke to his Rabbi.“Rabbi, i am despondent… my studies in logic have show me that i can disprove the existence of G-d.”

“That’s worrisome indeed, young man. Tell me, can your logic disprove the existence of anything at all?”

    “Yes, Rabbi.”

“Can you prove to me that you have no nose?”

    “Yes, Rabbi.”

    “Proceed, then.”

But before the young man could begin, the Rabbi reached out and punched him in the nose.

    “WHAT HURTS?”
