You really are an imbecilic shill, aren’t you? What do you think the camps we held Japanese-Americans in were? And they did not split up families like your low-rent Nosferatu Stephen Miller does now. No wonder that no paper will carry your drivel.

We had concentration camps holding ethnic Japanese, including citizens. We at least kept families together in them. And yes, “concentration camp” just means orienting folks together so you could keep track of them, not that you intend to kill them. (At least intentionally??)

We kept ethnic Japanese in “concentration camps”. My first girlfriend was born in one in Idaho, and her parents were US citizens. Back then we didn’t separate kids and famlies. Concentration means gathering together in controlled places, at least here in ours, not INTENTIONALLY killing them.

As long as you brought it up, Tom…What do you think of separating families with no plan or system in place to reunite them…EVER!?

How proud are you of these crimes against humanity?

Has the Republican party totally abandoned civilized behavior, family values, common decency, etc? Is it merely a refuge for those unable to compete in a diverse society with changing demographics and advanced skill requirements?

Stiglich calling AOC a dummy? Can we arrange a debate between them? Talk about bringing a (dull) knife to a gunfight…

Tom you can type this stuff into google.

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/concentration%20camp

concentration camp nounDefinition of concentration camp: a place where large numbers of people (such as prisoners of war, political prisoners, refugees, or the members of an ethnic or religious minority) are detained or confined under armed guard —used especially in reference to camps created by the Nazis in World War II for the internment and persecution of Jews and other prisonersThe Nazi soldiers hauled [Mordechai] Strigler off to a concentration camp, and carved swastikas into his cheeks and forehead with a razor blade. Over the next five years, he was sent from one concentration camp or slave-labor camp to another.— David RemnickShe ended up dying in a concentration camp, just a few months before she would have been liberated.— Marilyn ReynoldsThe V2 killed thousands of British civilians while 20,000 concentration camp inmates died as slave labourers during its manufacture in the closing stages of the second world war.— Anna Tomforde et al.— see also DEATH CAMP

If you need to change the definition to suit your own purpose then your use of the word is incorrect.

If you need to change “concentration camp” to make yourself feel superior then you are on the wrong side of history.

You lock specific groups of people up without due process you are running a concentration camp.

The conditions do not matter. The Dummy could house them in Trump Tower with three meals a day and maid service and it is still a concentration camp.

In a real concentration camp, you can’t go home anytime you want. That’s quite a BIG difference…

Good thing they aren’t giving the kids toothbrushes or soccer balls or something to sleep on, that would cut into the $750 a day the Trump govt is paying per kid.

Stiglich is an asshat! The term “concentration camps” don’t only apply to the Nazi camps that committed horrible acts that became the Holocaust. Or does your ignorance ignore the US concentration camps of WWII called the Japanese Internment camps? Or the US detention camps of the 1800s for the forced relocation of the Native Americans? Think you and your ilk should read your own “Concentration Camps for Dummies” book.

So… the Nazi concentration camps are the ONLY concentration camps, and anything else referred to as a “concentration camp” must be 100% exactly the same, or not qualify for the term?

A Toy Poodle and a St Bernard are both “dogs”, even though they have some superficial differences. Both of these things are Concentration Camps, even though they have some differences.

The Nazis got their idea for KL concentration camps from reserves where natives of the Americas were sent to live on whilst our land was stolen.

Trump Disciples like Stiglich are oh, so sensitive about labels.

That’s because labelling is a core component of the Republican execution of Continuous Campaigning.

    .

Currently, the label any and every Democrat proposal or idea as … Socialism. Which will turn us into … Venezuela.

Health care, education, student loan reform, fighting pollution, ever admitting climate change, NOT privatizing prisons — the dreaded Socialism, all of it.

And Trump Disciples like Stiglich, having such limited analysis skills, will fasten onto those labels, internalize them, and use them as counter-arguments for anything Fox ‘news’ tells them.

    .

And they are terrified to have that kind of label attached to themselves. Thus, even though there have been severals deaths in these ‘detention centers’ (Trump Disciples call them ‘summer camps’) because of neglect, and tremendous amounts of suffering, labeling them as something that will identify them realistically is terrifying to Republicans.

And, of course, they would NEVER want to identify those who are making enormous amounts of money, or how much, or what it is costing taxpayers and adding to the deficit.

That would be, you know, Venezuela.
