AOC is a dunce? Explain how. If she is a dunce, then every single first-world country are also dunces, because they all already have found ways to guarantee healthcare. And yes, sometimes she does say incorrect things, just like every other politicians. But unlike Trump she admits and corrects her mistakes in the interests of better policy.
Seriously, Mr. Campbell, with the performance your Republican POTUS is putting on you want us to focus on a brash freshman Democratic congresswoman? Seriously?
She really scares you doesn’t she? What about the people of NY’s 14th district who voted for her? They could have voted for Crowley the incumbent in the primary….but didn’t. They could have voted for Pappas….but didn’t. I read that there are over 700,000 people in the district (not sure how many are voting age) and she got 110,000 votes. Do you have scorn and condemnation for them too? Bet drawing ’toons mocking them will “change their minds”
AOC is very smart, and her policies are generally very good. There are quite a few smart young progressive democrats now, and that’s a pleasure to see.
I guess some people don’t really know German usage. The use of Herr is as common as Mr. is here. Yes, Mr. was also an honorific, but that was a long time ago. Arguing that calling him Herr Trump is somehow honoring him is just the sign of a real curmudgeon, Señor matjestaet.
Ocasio-Cortez attended Yorktown High School, graduating in 2007, where she won second prize in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair with a microbiology research project on the effect of antioxidants on C. elegans’ lifespan. As a result, the International Astronomical Union named a small asteroid after her: 23238 Ocasio-Cortez.[ In high school, she took part in the National Hispanic Institute’s Lorenzo de Zavala (LDZ) Youth Legislative Session. She later became the LDZ Secretary of State while she attended Boston University. Ocasio-Cortez had a John F. Lopez Fellowship. In 2008, while Ocasio-Cortez was a sophomore at Boston University, her father died of lung cancer. During college, she was an intern in the immigration office of U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy. She graduated cum laude from Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in international relations and economics.

Campbell, your cartoon today serves as a pathetic example of today’s conservative. You of course realize AOC has achieved a level of importance and respect at 29 that you, in your entire life, will never achieve. She has the future. You will always be a disgruntled cartoon.
Being smart is good; having good policies is good. Behaving, as too many women today do, as though being cute/smart/successful/sexy/whatever entitles you to some kind of pass on mature, professional behavior is neither smart, good nor good policy. And if she equates behaving like queen of the sorority with “shaking up the establishment”, she needs to look more carefully at where she is and what job she took on. (For reference, 60+yo woman here.)
I know AOC proposes a 70% tax on the wealthy and she is a Socialist. Ike ENFORCES a 93% tax on the wealthy and he a the Standard bearer of 1950’s conservative principals. How times change.

She’s smarter than Mr. Campbell, therefore he has to disparage here just like his boss in the Whitehouse.

Campbell is just like some ‘frosh’ frat pledge … mindlessly following the Limbaugh/Hannity playbook ….

AOC believes that everyone in the U.S. should get healthcare, food, housing and basic needs covered. Only a dunce would think that! /s

Herr Curmudgeon303 was kindly advised several times that, “Herr” is a honorative address in German. That’s why I use it….
