    People, in MLB games, fans put up placards with a large “K” on them. This is scorecard shorthand for “strike out” and is a cheer of sorts.

    I once dated an African American woman. I was reading a baseball magazine. It had a picture of a guy in the stands catching a ball. Underneath him were KKK. I explained the K was used in baseball scorring to indicate an “out”. The KKKs was for 3 outs, and nothing sinister. She I and her brother all got a good laugh out of it.
