The only thing a “gifted” person is going to have trouble learning is how to fit into a world of people who aren’t “gifted”. Putting them in a special class is really a very ungifted person’s idea of what is best for them. Leave them with the people they are going to have to live with, instead of isolating them.

I loved teaching the above average kids. This just tickles me. I give him credit for thinking outside of the box.

Students are usually put into a track (advanced/average/slow) beginning in 6th/7th grade and it is hard to be put in a higher track.
