I can’t get Mrs to leave ours alone. If she gets hot she turns it down and opens a window. Once she gets cold she cranks the temp to 90 and closes the window. Endless cycle. I’ve told her set the temp to 72 then keep your fingers off of it. let the house normalize then you won’t have the endless up and down cycle. When you leave the house DON’T turn the heat off!

When the University I once worked at changed over to a new HVAC control, they left the old thermostats in place for people to fool with!
