Sadly, the future always seemed more exciting when I was younger.
We are always traveling into the future, but some people’s heads are stuck in past.
What’s really amazing is when you learn just how close the Romans were to inventing the steam engine. They nearly kicked off the industrial revolution a dozen centuries early.
Every time he opens his mouth, she gets this look on her face like, “I’m going to be able to make this monkey to dance to any tune I want.”
We ARE living our ancestor’s future, including Roman ancestors (where applicable).
Everything in it’s own good time.
Having witnessed the evolution of the smartphone and all its hiccups and outright failures (slow, off-color screens, frequent crashes, dropping connections), it’s a wonder that you can buy one for less than $100 that works as well as it does.
Well the network was pretty flaky back then.
The future might be more exciting, but heck I can’t even afford the present…
