    Tony is right, actually. It is classic motivational theory: if you want someone to do something, it should be 1) a task that they believe they can do, and 2) they should get something out of it, that 3) gives them some kind of satisfaction. The knowledge that he has made his homework just isn’t enough; – that might come in time.
